Location and Pricing

We are located off the Sheffield Parkway and a short drive from the City Centre and Meadowhall. There is limited onsite parking but free parking from 09:30-16:00 on Effingham Road. More parking becomes available on Lumley Street during the afternoon and weekend sessions. Wherever possible we would encourage you to car share or use public transport.

We are only a twenty minute walk from Sheffield train station and less than ten minutes from our nearest tram stop at Hyde Park. An alternative pedestrian route, where considered age appropriate, can be taken on the canal path from Victoria Quays.

Times & Dates

We are open 7 days a week closing only over the Christmas and New Year Period.

Our sessions are fixed in both duration and capacity to maximise the enjoyment and benefit for everybody visiting Curious Kids Town. We recommend that you book in advance of your visit on our easy to use and secure booking system. Even if you don’t wish to book online we would recommend you check whether your choice of session has available places before attending.

We will also periodically offer later midweek pyjama sessions for working families, to allow quality time at the end of the day with your little ones. You can bring your little ones to play, all ready for bed in their pyjamas and we will include a glass of milk, cookie and story time at the end of the session.

If you have any other thoughts or ideas please speak with us. We are particularly interested to hear from groups of home educators and special educational needs and hope to work with you to offer specific and suitable bespoke sessions as required.

Curious Kids (over 12 months): £6.95

Little Explorers (6 – 12 months, walking): £4.95

Pre-walkers under 6 months are free with a paying sibling

There is 1 free adult space per booking.

Additional adults: £3.75

We offer discounted rates for large groups i.e. play groups, nurseries, childminders and schools.
